Description
Role
- Develop ticket sales partnerships with private bus travel operators
Responsibilities
- Find, research, qualify and convert leads
- Identify and contact relevant decision makers in the partner organizations
- Introduce Busbud to partners: company, mission, site, features, and audience
- Explain Busbud's value proposition and how partners can sell tickets on Busbud
- Gather feedback from partners, answer objections and negotiate solutions to problems
- Get partners excited about Busbud and encourage them to spread the word
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Sales experience
- Very strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
- Friendly yet concise telephone manner
- Ability to work with deadlines and targets in results-driven environment
- Passion for international travel
Desirable
- Sales experience in the travel industry
- Knowledge or contacts in the bus industry
- Proficiency in multiple languages
- Previous startup experience
- Bilingual (English/French)
Compensation
- Hourly salary and commission based on experience
