We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced and qualified PRINCE 2 Project Manager to join our client’s Aerospace manufacturing business near Bolton, Lancashire. As Project Manager, your main responsibility will be to deliver the business benefits associated with strategic change projects. You will be experienced in delivering complex change projects with multiple stakeholders and will be required to deliver the benefits of strategic change projects on time and to the highest quality.

You will establish, lead and develop integrated project teams to deliver project benefits and you will establish and promote project management competences as a core capability within the company.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed, high-profile team set up to implement the company’s strategy.

The Company Our client is a leading global supplier of components and services to the Aerospace Industry. Privately owned and financially secure, they have over 50 years of experience in the manufacture of aerospace components, structures, sub-systems, and assemblies. Their robust manufacturing, assembly, treatment and testing capabilities, combined with supply chain management enable them to deliver fully integrated supply solutions to their customers.

Minimum Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this Project Manager vacancy, you must meet the following criteria:

• Strong engineering experience from working in or directly with large Aerospace Tier1/OEMs

• Degree and PRINCE 2 qualified

• Demonstrable delivery of complex change projects with multiple stakeholders

• Proven ability to develop and evaluate project business cases using established financial techniques (discounted cash flow / present value / economic value added)

• Experienced in the use of MS Project and practical project/risk management techniques

• Demonstrated track record of engineering ability

• Demonstrated ability to manage customers, projects and deliver
