RFP /Communication's specialist

Employer in the Tampa market is seeking a Communications Specialist with the writing skills of a world renowned copywriter to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities include: • End-to-end project management of the company’s response to proposals and client presentation projects • Responsible for content development, coordination of information from senior management and sales team, editing, proofreading, and final production • Developing and tracking project timeline for all program deliverables and ensuring proposals meet the highest quality standards and their associated deadlines • Coordinating input and communications with corporate team • Assisting with public relations activities including research, analysis, social media, writing, editing, proofreading, etc. • Communicating with sales team, executive team and others to inform of proposal process and/or results • Assisting with marketing department tasks as necessary Must Have’s: • 4- Year degree in English, Communications or related field • Journalist narrative writing expertise is ideal – not merely RFP/RFI writing • Candidate must be extremely detail oriented and able to meet fast-paced project deadlines. Candidates should be prepared to show previous work experience planning documents including timelines, work flows, communications and other related documents. Writing test required. • Writing portfolio of deliverables such as brochures, white papers, datasheets, website content, case studies, blogs and newsletters. • Experience maintaining a proposal database (Qvididan, Proposable, etc) • Experience working with sales teams • Experience or knowledge with salesforce.com • Willing to work until the job is complete. Potentially extended work days when deadlines approach Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
